The Beat Junkie’s J.Rocc and lyricist M.E.D. have released their new single “Sofa Coins” from the masterfully produced album The Sofa Set EP.

 

The Stones Throw affiliates J.Rocc and M.E.D., have combined forces (yes, like Voltron) to be known as Axel F. and created four amazing hip-hop tracks that make up the album.  The beats were entirely produced by J.Rocc and the record was released on M.E.D’s new label Bang Ya Head.

The new single has garnered many positive responses through the social media buzz. But the buzz got bigger when Axel F. joined with the band BTS (Balance and the Traveling Sounds) and recorded their video at the popular record store, Backside Records.
